Ricky-T is Soca King Again

It was almost 4 in the morning but the massive crowd at Beausejour had enough energy to “behave mad ‘n off” as Ricky T was crowned St. Lucia’s 2011 Party Soca Monarch. This is Ricky T’s second crown for the 2011 season, as he won the Groovy Soca Monarch this past Thursday.
The performer has also a multi-winner of both regional and local soca titles.
Ricky T topped a field of the best soca artistes on the island with 407 points. In second place was the popular Superman HD with 380. TJ’s 376 points placed him third.
